Homemade remedies to remove eye dark circles

  1. Cucumber

Cucumber is a healing ingredient as it contains many antioxidants, useful for removing the dark circles.

Remedy: Cut one cucumber into slices and let them for half an hour in the fridge to cool. After removing them, place two slices on your eyes, covering the entire affected area. After ten minutes, wash with cold water. You should repeat the treatment two times every day for a week.

  1. Mint leaves

The rich content of vitamin C makes mint a good ingredient in combating the dark circles under your eyes.

Remedy: Crush several mint leaves, mixing them with several drops of water, in order to obtain a paste. Apply it on the affected area, leaving it untouched for 10 minutes, after which you should wash with cold water. Follow the treatment every night before going to sleep, for a week.

! Before applying it on an extended area, do a patch test before, as the peppermint may cause allergic reactions.

  1. Cold milk

Milk is rich in lactic acid which makes the skin smooth, thick and firm, diminishing the fine lines and wrinkles.

Remedy: soak a cotton ball into cold milk and place it on your eyes, covering the entire affected area. Let it stay for 15 minutes, then wash with warm water. Repeat the remedy daily for about a week.
